This isn't easy for any of us, and we want to make sure we're all on the same page as we go through these changes. Here's the lowdown on what's changing and how we're going to make it as smooth as possible:

As of February 6th, 2024

The Farewell Townhall (February 24th at 10am PT)

After February 24th, 2024

• All social functions of the site will be turned off (feed, comments, likes, notifications, messages, etc.)
• Creation will be turned off. Profiles will be turned off. Honestly most things will go down.
• Accounts with no public posts will be cleared as well as any spam accounts we find to help get costs down
• The site will then enter archive mode. We're doing everything we can to keep your stories available for download and keep your stories archived for as long as we can after February 24th. We can promise it’ll be up for at least a few more months, but given costs to host, please export asap if you’re looking to keep your stories.
